Meteorite classes among observed falls

The 1,063 observed falls carry 124 different class labels. A label packs two things: the chemical group (H, L, LL, CM, eucrite, iron IIIAB…) and, for chondrites, a petrologic type from 1 to 7 that says how much the rock was altered by water or heat on its parent body. Here they are grouped into families, with the number of falls behind every label.
